And now for the news…

There is the good news and the latest news! The good news is the award-winning Panay News is still the numero uno regional daily in the Philippines! The latest news is it reinvented itself to meet the demands of the changing times! It will surely soar to new heights and gallop to more destinations!
The NEW face of Panay News will include changes in mast head, size, content and layout but it will still pursue adversarial journalism!

The launching of this most recent development was celebrated with a big bash for its advertisers, friends and supporters at Sarabia Manor Hotel and Convention Center. It started with a cocktail party on the Poolside. Amid fun tête-à-tête, an eclectic mix of businessmen, politicians, socialites, professionals and government officials was treated to endless rounds of fine wine and scotch whiskey! It was followed by a Filipino-themed buffet dinner at the Boracay Ballroom.
Après the Welcome Address by LEAH P. FAJARDO, the indefatigable Marketing Manager, an Audio-Visual Presentation that chronicled the history and profile of Panay News was shown. It was followed by the speech on “Print Advertising and Branding vis-à-vis Public Relations and Media Celebrity” of the event’s special guest, Philippines’ King of Talk BOY ABUNDA, who was introduced by a fast-paced AVP and yours truly!

Jetting in from Cosmo-Manille, lawyer ABDIEL DAN ELIJAH S. FAJARDO, the Chair of the Board of Directors of Panay News, Inc., unveiled the new face of Panay News through a speech and an AVP!
Panay News founder DANNY G. FAJARDO closed the program with a heartfelt Message of Thanks.
But the fun did not end there. Prizes were raffled off and given away. Entertainment was provided by Cuerdaz, Iloilo Prima Galaw and West Crew Dancers!
Needless to say, Panay News always does it with style! Well, why not? After all, the zest of life is on our side! (Photos by Joselito Villasis)

Time to party

After the success of Iloilo Designers Week 2014, participating designers, models, stylists and fashionistas gathered at the popular JLK Bar and Music Lounge for a swinging after-party.
In between sips and spills of tequila, wine and beer and bites of yummy and spicy hors d’oeurves, the fashion groupies grooved to the 70s, 80s and 90s music of hotshot DJs WENDELL WANG and EDWIN ZULUETA, and hobnobbed with each other!
“Tonight is the night we celebrate fashion and fun!” enthused fashion designer JET SALCEDO.
The all-night partying happily concluded the months of preparations and a week of shows. It ended on a high note at crack of dawn with promises of future get-togethers.
